Video: Is Jayson Tatum already an NBA superstar?
Maybe your list is just LeBron, Curry, Giannis, and Durant for all I know, so it's open to interpretation. One thing I do know is that we need Tatum to make the jump to the "Practically everyone says he's a superstar" level for the Celtics to compete for a title.
With the lone exception of the 2004 Detroit Pistons that defeated the feuding, dysfunctional Kobe/Shaq Lakers that season, you need a bonafide superstar to win a title. Doesn't guarantee one, but it's pretty much a requirement.
So what say you? Is Tatum already an NBA superstar, and if not, what does he need to do this season to get to that level in your eyes?
