Payton Pritchard and Celtics agree to 2 year, $44 million extension
Payton Pritchard and the Celtics yesterday agreed to two year, $44 million extension with the goal of keeping the explosive guard in Boston into the next decade. Pritchard will make $7.8 million this season and $8.3 million next as part of his current deal and then get a bump to $21.2 milliom in 2028/29 and $22.9 million in 2029/30. That final season will be a mutual option.
Danny snagged a good one 6 yrs ago. Glad to see Pritchard should remain in Boston through the decade.
